Vendor Spotlight

Calling all coffee lovers!

Learn how the pros roast their coffee beans! The McCutcheon/Mount Vernon Market will feature a side-by-side demonstration of coffee roasting using two different techniques. Meet Brandon Berryhill of The Traveling Shepherd Coffee Co. and Martin Granda of Siempre Verde Farm as provide an inside look at the art of coffee roasting on Wednesday, May 3, from 8 a.m. to noon.

These experts know their coffee. Traveling Shepherd routinely roasts 100 to 200 pounds of coffee beans a week from 31 countries. Siempre Verde Farm, one of its suppliers is located in Pichincha, Ecuador, located just above the equator in the Andes Mountains, has been growing coffee for three generations.
