Potomac Vegetable Farms: From the Farm to Forks at Reston Farmers Market!

Have you been to the Reston Farmers Market? If not, be sure to stop by this Saturday to say hello to Potomac Vegetable Farms (PVF)! 

PVF is situated in Vienna, and has been growing and selling vegetables for over 50 years. The farm practices a style of agriculture they call Ecoganic, meaning they use only natural methods (no synthetic/chemical sprays) to avoid and manage insects, weeds, and diseases. Their strategy is to prevent problems through healthy practices such as enriching the soils with controlled microbial compost, winter cover crops and summer green manure crops.
