Our food scrap collection has been extended beyond the markets closing! Check out our updated schedule below.
 

  • Wakefield Market, Nov. 6 – Dec. 18, 2-4 p.m.
  • Oakmont, Nov. 13 – Dec. 18, 9-11 a.m.
  • Herndon, Nov. 14– Dec. 19, 9-11 a.m.     (No collection on Nov 28)
  • Lorton, Nov. 17 – Dec. 15, 9-11 a.m.
  • Annandale, Nov. 21– Dec. 19, 9-11 a.m.
    (No collection on Nov. 28)
  • McLean, Nov. 22 – Dec. 20, 9-11 a.m.

Transform Your Waste!

Pumpkin Palooza-Let the Gourd Times Roll!

 

Wondering what to do with your pumpkin after the fall holidays? Take part in the annual Pumpkin Palooza! Bring your pumpkins and gourds to collection cans, at the I-95 Landfill Complex or I-66 Transfer Station on the following dates and times. Please ensure decorations, including glitter, paint and candle wax, have been removed to prevent the pumpkins from being rejected for composting.

Sat.-Sun., 7 a.m.-4 p.m.
