2024 Season Recap 


The FCPA Farmers Markets are more than a place for fresh produce—they’re a hub for community impact! Here’s what we achieved together this season:

 

Nourished Our Neighbors

  • Donated 3,800 lbs. of fresh produce to local food pantries (July–November).

Reduced Our Environmental Footprint

  • Collected 150,936 lbs. of food scraps for composting, keeping waste out of landfills.

Increased Access to Nutritious Food

  • Issued $97,943 in SNAP and Virginia Fresh Match benefits to support food accessibility.
