The Fairfax County Farmers Markets are back and bursting with flavor! We’re celebrating fresh finds like the first strawberries of the season, spring greens and more. Markets are opening across the county—so grab your market bag and come taste what’s fresh!

Farmers Markets Are Officially Open! 

 

The McCutcheon/Mount Vernon Farmers Market kicked off the 2025 season with a ceremonial bell ringing and a visit from Camela Speer of Supervisor Daniel Storck’s office! Burke and Reston are also open and thriving with fresh produce, local goods and smiling faces. Seven more markets are opening soon—so mark your calendar and don’t miss opening day in your neighborhood!

Kingstowne | Fridays, 3-7p.m, Opens May 2

Oakmont | Wednesdays, 8 a.m-Noon, Opens May 7

Lorton | Sundays, 8 a.m.-Noon, Opens May 4

Wakefield | Fridays, 2-6 p.m,  Opens May 7
